Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel or restaurant cooking preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Physical stamina for long standing hours
  • Availability for weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to learn and follow recipes and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Two years of previous line cooking experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or related hotel cooking experience is preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Capable of working a single station in the kitchen
  • Strong desire to meet guest needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Full open availability including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to Hyatt standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in inventory management and stock control
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operation
  • Monitor food quality and presentation
  • Adhere to kitchen policies and procedures
