Job Requirements

Must have a caring heart willing to serve others
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Trade school, associate or bachelor’s degree in culinary preferred
Minimum two years of related culinary experience
Self-motivation and creativity in culinary experience
Good knife skills and familiar with all cooking methods
Experience with therapeutic or modified diets preferred
Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including holidays and weekends

Job Duties

Prep, plan and cook meals according to established menus
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in food quality and service quality
Maintain or exceed standards of a kitchen environment that promotes teamwork, safety, proper hygiene and cleanliness
Stock supplies as needed
Work in a senior living environment and prepare food to meet or exceed hospitality and service standards
