Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and hygienic practices
- One year of cooking experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Other cooking experience or cook's training program completion will be considered
- Availability for evening shifts
- Ability to work full-time
- Commitment to quality and safety standards
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare meals for veteran residents that meet individual dietary needs
- Prepare meals for special events as required
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards in the Dietary Services Department
- Provide excellent service to veteran residents
- Collaborate with dietary team to support efficient kitchen operations
- Monitor inventory and report stock needs
