Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of relevant cooking experience
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- prior kitchen or cooking experience in a cafeteria or large volume production facility is a plus
- knowledge of safety procedures in food service environments

Job Duties
- Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties and complete opening and closing checklists daily
- set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- safely use a variety of kitchen utensils including knives and other items
- operate equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and recipes
- handle, store, label, and rotate products properly per state laws
- stock and maintain sufficient food product levels at line stations
- understand menu items and prep ingredients
- multitask effectively in a high-volume kitchen
- handle hot and cold work conditions during food preparation
- stand and be on feet for extended periods during shifts
- perform other related duties as assigned
