  • Ability to do the work of a cook without more than normal supervision

  • ability to use and maintain tools and equipment

  • physical effort frequent lifting or moving of objects weighing up to 45 pounds and constant standing and walking

Job Duties

  • Prep menu items by chopping and slicing meats and vegetables
  • measure and assemble ingredients by hand
  • cook food under supervision of work leader or journey-level employee
  • maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen workspace
  • follow safety and hygiene protocols
  • use and maintain cooking tools and equipment appropriately
  • assist with inventory management and storage of food items
