Job Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED
- Requires a minimum of one year of cooking experience in a regulated environment
- OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Requires knowledge of the Privacy Act and its application
- Requires First Aid/CPR certificate within 180 days of hire
- Requires food handlers card within 30 days of hire
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to Native American culture
- This position may require driving
- Candidate must be able to stand and walk for long periods
- Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Candidate must be able to work indoors and occasionally outdoors
- Candidates will be subject to criminal and character background checks and may be subject to fingerprinting
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED

Job Duties
- Prepares all meals and snacks for residents of both lodges
- Cleans dining area, kitchen equipment and work areas
- Loads and unloads dishwasher and returns equipment to its proper place during and after each meal preparation
- Maintains standard of sanitation, health, safety, and nutrition
- Organizes and maintains kitchen areas
- Conducts periodic deep cleaning in common areas
- Properly handles, stores, and labels leftover food items
