The role of Cook at Red Lobster is essential to maintaining the high standards and quality that the brand is known for. As a Cook, you are responsible for preparing and cooking food according to company recipes and specifications, ensuring that every dish served meets the expectations of both the guests and the company. This role involves setting up and stocking prep and line stations, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and ensuring food safety and sanitary handling practices are strictly followed. You will also be tasked with checking the freshness and quality of ingredients, preparing food with accurate portion control, and assisting or substituting for other kitchen positions as needed during busy periods. The position demands physical endurance and agility, as the work requires standing for long shifts, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving around the kitchen. Job Requirements
- Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
- Culinary experience preferred
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 60 pounds safely
- Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift

Job Duties
- Setting up and stocking prep and line stations

- Prepping, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes, quantity calls, and specification while maintaining portion control systems
- Inspecting food preparation and serving areas, tools, and equipment to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
- Substituting for or assisting other cooks and kitchen positions during peak business periods
