Job Duties
- Treat every guest as a guest in your own home
- Set up, clean, and organize work stations
- Maintain backup supplies
- Prepare food items for the shift
- Prepare utensils, fryers, and grill for shift
- Receive orders from waitstaff on handwritten tickets or computerized system
- Memorize menu
- Accurately prepare and plate food orders as stated in training material
- Cook food orders according to health and safety standards
- Handle multiple food orders simultaneously
- Monitor multiple food orders as new orders arrive
- Ensure each guest order has correct food and sides
- Deliver food order to waitstaff in a timely manner
- Store all food properly
- Sanitize and clean workstations and utensils
- Assist other cooks and team members when needed
- Comply with health regulations
- Maintain regular cleaning standards and sanitation levels
- Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- Have physical stamina to withstand full shifts while standing
- Work efficiently and be a self-starter
- Retain self-composure
- Possess a sense of urgency and timing
- Follow instructions willingly
- Work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Be willing to work unpredictable hours to meet work demands or fill in for staff
- Maintain atmosphere free of intimidation, discrimination, harassment, poor attitude, or poor work performance
