Job Duties

  • Treat every guest as a guest in your own home
  • Set up, clean, and organize work stations
  • Maintain backup supplies
  • Prepare food items for the shift
  • Prepare utensils, fryers, and grill for shift
  • Receive orders from waitstaff on handwritten tickets or computerized system
  • Memorize menu
  • Accurately prepare and plate food orders as stated in training material
  • Cook food orders according to health and safety standards
  • Handle multiple food orders simultaneously
  • Monitor multiple food orders as new orders arrive
  • Ensure each guest order has correct food and sides
  • Deliver food order to waitstaff in a timely manner
  • Store all food properly
  • Sanitize and clean workstations and utensils
  • Assist other cooks and team members when needed
  • Comply with health regulations
  • Maintain regular cleaning standards and sanitation levels
  • Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
  • Have physical stamina to withstand full shifts while standing
  • Work efficiently and be a self-starter
  • Retain self-composure
  • Possess a sense of urgency and timing
  • Follow instructions willingly
  • Work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Be willing to work unpredictable hours to meet work demands or fill in for staff
