Job Requirements

  • One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Food Handler's permit as regulated by state and local authorities
  • Skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Cook a la carte items
  • Monitor stock
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
  • Assist with training of all culinary team members
  • Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
  • Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner
