Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to remain stationary and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
- Ability to safely reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Capability to work in hot and damp environments
- Possession of finger and hand dexterity for kitchen tasks
- Ability to wear protective hand coverings, face coverings, and masks throughout the shift
- Frequent hand washing with disinfecting soap is required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to quality and food safety standards
- Ability to follow directions accurately
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene practices
Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to Applebee's standards and recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and work areas
- Communicate effectively with team members and dining room staff
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow health and safety protocols including wearing protective gear
- Manage food inventory and ensure quality control
- Assist in maintaining a positive and productive work environment
