Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods
- Availability to work full-time hours
- Willingness to comply with safety training and certification requirements

Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- Prepare and cook food following recipes, quality, and presentation standards
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Test foods to ensure proper cooking
- Monitor food quality during preparation
- Set-up and break down workstations
- Serve food in proper portions and receptacles
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tools, and equipment
- Check and ensure correct temperature of appliances and food
- Follow company safety and security policies
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
- Support team goals and respond to employee concerns
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, reaching, lifting objects up to 25 pounds
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
