Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods
  • Availability to work full-time hours
  • Willingness to comply with safety training and certification requirements

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
  • Prepare and cook food following recipes, quality, and presentation standards
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • Test foods to ensure proper cooking
  • Monitor food quality during preparation
  • Set-up and break down workstations
  • Serve food in proper portions and receptacles
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tools, and equipment
  • Check and ensure correct temperature of appliances and food
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Support team goals and respond to employee concerns
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, reaching, lifting objects up to 25 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
