Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Commitment to making a positive impact
- Ability to remain stationary and move for up to four hours
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Comfortable working in hot and damp environments
- Ability to wear protective gear and follow hygiene protocols throughout shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience is an asset
- Ability to work well within a team
- Strong communication skills
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Communicate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist in inventory control and stock management
- Collaborate with staff to ensure timely food service
- Participate in team activities to promote a positive work environment
