Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Proof of citizenship or eligibility to work in the US
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift, stretch and perform overhead lifting frequently
  • Ability to work 38-45 hours weekly if full time or 29 hours or less if part time
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments
  • Subject to pre-employment background and drug screening
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures
  • Willingness to wear uniform and personal protective equipment
  • Ability to follow all health and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic math and reading abilities
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Complies with all policies, health and sanitation laws
  • Completion of STAR certification and training programs
  • General knowledge or understanding of restaurant or retail operations
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Performs all duties in the basic stations such as fountain and frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, carhop, skating carhop and drive-thru as needed
  • Gives team help and support to other crew and managers when assigned duties are caught up
  • Operates switchboard and records customer order clearly
  • Operates drive-thru window and sales register accurately and efficiently
  • Prepares fountain drinks and ice cream items
  • Prepares food by cutting, chopping and cooking on grill or fryers
  • Packages menu items into bags or trays and places drinks into carriers
  • Serves food efficiently to customers in drive-thru and other stations
  • Moves food products weighing up to 50 lbs and stocks shelves
  • Cleans all areas including sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, sanitizing counters and restrooms
  • Disposes of trash and maintains cleanliness of patio and parking lot
  • Responds respectfully to guest requests and reports complaints
  • Reports all accidents to management and monitors work environment for issues
  • Wears required uniform and follows personal protective equipment guidelines
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
