Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Commitment to making a positive impact
- Capability to remain stationary and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
- Ability to safely reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfort working in hot and damp environments
- Ability to use small tools and kitchen equipment
- Willingness to wear protective hand and face coverings throughout the shift
- Capability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap during shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience beneficial but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Job Duties
- Prepare delicious menu items according to Applebee's recipes and standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Handle food safely and follow all health and safety regulations
- Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with inventory management and stock supplies
- Follow company policies for hygiene and safety protocols
