Job Requirements

  • Some high school education
  • local/municipal food handler certification acquired at applicant's own expense
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to stand up to four hours
  • ability to reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches
  • ability to work in a hot, noisy, and fast-paced environment
  • effective verbal communication skills
  • ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations
  • ability to use kitchen equipment including Chinese cook knives
  • availability to work flexible schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Some high school education
  • prefer some operations experience
  • knowledge of food safety standards and local/municipal requirements such as food handler certification
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • effective verbal communication skills
  • ability to adapt to dynamic and changing priorities

Job Duties

  • Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for guests
  • prepare all dishes to meet company recipes and standards
  • guide kitchen team and assist with their training
  • perform all back-of-house responsibilities
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
