Job Duties
- Treat every guest as a guest in your own home
- setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations
- maintain backup supplies
- preparing food items for the shift
- preparing utensils, fryers and grill for shift
- receiving orders from waitstaff on handwritten tickets or computerized system
- memorize our menu
- cooks must accurately prepare food orders as stated in training material
- cooks must accurately plate food orders as stated in training material
- cook food orders according to health and safety standards
- handle multiple food orders at one time
- monitor multiple food orders as new orders arrive
- ensure each guest order has the correct food and sides
- delivering food order to waitstaff in a timely manner
- store all food properly
- sanitize and clean work stations and utensils
- assist other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed
- comply with health regulations
- maintain regular cleaning standards and sanitation levels
- comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- physical stamina to withstand a full shift while standing
- expected to work in an efficient manner and be a self-starter
- retain self-composure
- possess a sense of urgency and timing
- must be willing and able to follow instructions
- must have the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- be willing to work unpredictable hours to meet work demands or fill in for staff
- maintain an atmosphere free of intimidation, discrimination, harassment, poor attitude or poor work performance
