Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
prior cooking experience preferred
ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
ability to stand for extended periods
knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
strong attention to detail
able to follow instructions and work well in a team environment

Job Qualifications

experience cooking in a restaurant or foodservice environment preferred
ability to follow recipes and food safety standards
strong multitasking and time management skills
teamwork and communication abilities
basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation
food handler's certification is a plus

Job Duties

accurately and efficiently cook a variety of food products
prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
perform other duties in food preparation to assure smooth kitchen operation
accurately plate food items according to company specifications
safely operate kitchen equipment including fryer, pots and pans, stove, oven, grill, dishwasher, broiler, griddle, slicers, mixers, blenders, graters, can opener, knives, microwaves
maintain a clean working environment
