Job Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Sufficient education and/or literacy to read product labels and communicate job-related needs
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

  • Willingness to work varied schedules including nights and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Combination of education and experience in culinary arts or food preparation
  • Experience in hotel or hospitality kitchen environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and guests
  • Professional and warm demeanor reflecting a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of menu items and cooking techniques relevant to hotel dining

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality meals following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team and report to the Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
  • Follow health and safety regulations in all food preparation processes
  • Assist in the inventory control and proper storage of kitchen supplies
  • Adapt to flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
