Job Requirements

  • Some high school education
  • Local/municipal food handler certification acquired at applicant’s own expense
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for up to four hours
  • Ability to reach across countertops measured at 36 inches
  • Ability to work in hot, noisy, and restricted workspaces
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage conflicts

Job Qualifications

  • Some high school education
  • Prefer some operations experience
  • Understanding of food safety practices
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment including Chinese cook knives

Job Duties

  • Supporting in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for guests
  • Preparing all dishes to meet company recipes and standards
  • Guiding kitchen team and assisting with their training
  • Performing all back of house responsibilities
  • Ensuring adherence to food safety and local/municipal health regulations
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen workspace
  • Managing equipment and inventory as needed
