Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
- able to work in hot and cold environments
- ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift
- frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
- manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
- ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral
- ability to adjust focus as needed
- ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- responsible Beverage Service Certifications required for California positions, can be completed during training and up to 60 days after start date
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus
- ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- willing to learn and adapt to different kitchen stations
Job Duties
- Responsible for the preparation of food items
- maintain equipment and cleanliness of the kitchen
- work as a team to meet preparation and delivery standards
- prepare food following safety equipment, tools, and recipe standards
- restock kitchen and cook line as needed
- commit to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards
- support all restaurant areas as business needs arise
