Job Requirements

  • Prior cooking experience
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols including proper glove use and slip-resistant footwear
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and operate kitchen equipment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cooking experience
  • Ability to prepare food according to recipes and safety standards
  • Understanding of portion control and food presentation
  • Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food storage practices
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday morning shifts

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring proper temperature and presentation
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures and maintains accurate records during service
  • Cleans kitchen and food storage areas, maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs or safety concerns immediately to supervisor
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Ensures personal commitment to safety and abides by company policies on handling knives, hot items, and proper lifting techniques
