Job Requirements
- must have experience in food preparation and presentation gained in grill, snack bar, restaurant, or similar setting
- must be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend
- must obtain food handler's certificate or complete food handlers training
- must be open to working a flexible, seasonal schedule
- must provide proof of eligibility by application deadline
- education does not substitute for experience
- foreign education must be equivalent to U.S. standards
Job Qualifications
- experience in food preparation and presentation in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, or similar food service setting
- knowledge of food service equipment operation and cleaning
- ability to safely lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds frequently
- ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for extended periods
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- possession of or ability to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handlers training
- good arithmetic skills
Job Duties
- prepare and present food items following established recipes and presentation standards
- operate and clean food service equipment safely and efficiently
- follow oral and written instructions and food safety guidelines
- season and judge the readiness of various food items
- maintain a clean and safe work environment
- assist with inventory and restocking of food supplies
- engage with customers courteously and respond to their needs
