Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of cooking and meal preparation experience
- Three to four years of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to work shift hours between 10am - 7pm including weekends

- Effective teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Ensures quality meal preparation including consistency, presentation, flavor and temperature
- Ensures safe food preparation including receiving, storage, cooking, service, holding, cleaning and sanitation of tools and work space
- Fiscal stewardship of resident spends by following recipes, preparing food quantities as instructed, batch cooking and using proper cooking methods and techniques
- Integral part of the production team supporting all dining programs including catering, events, retail etc
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
- Collaborates with other kitchen staff to meet dietary needs and resident preferences
- Assists in inventory management and communicates supply needs
