Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to communicate effectively with others
- committed to making an impact in a team environment
- ability to stand for long periods up to four hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- ability to work in hot and damp conditions
- willingness to wear protective gear and follow hygiene protocols throughout the shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food preparation or related kitchen work an advantage
- strong communication skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- familiarity with health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
- ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to Applebee's quality standards
- work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment
- communicate effectively with other employees and dining room staff
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the shift
- follow all health and safety protocols including wearing protective equipment
- lift and handle kitchen equipment and supplies safely
- assist with kitchen organization and inventory management
