Job Requirements

  • some high school education
  • food handler certification as per local or municipal requirements acquired at applicant's own expense
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods up to four hours
  • ability to work in hot and noisy environments
  • effective verbal communication skills
  • ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage conflicts or difficult situations
  • willingness to use kitchen tools including Chinese cook knife
  • ability to reach across 36-inch countertops

Job Qualifications

  • prefer some operations experience
  • food handler certification or ability to obtain
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques

Job Duties

  • support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests
  • preparing all dishes to meet company recipes and standards
  • guiding kitchen team and assisting with their training
  • performing all back of house responsibilities
  • maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
  • adhering to food safety regulations and procedures
  • communicating effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
