Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Commitment to making a positive impact
- Ability to stand and mobilize for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Comfortable working in hot and damp environments
- Willingness to wear protective hand coverings and face masks throughout shifts
- Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap during shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience is an advantage
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
- Physically able to meet the demands of the role
Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to Applebee's standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and dining room staff
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow health and safety regulations including wearing protective gear
- Assist in inventory and stock management
- Provide excellent support during busy periods
