Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- must have or obtain a valid Food Handler's permit
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift 25-50 lbs
- ability to work in various weather conditions including heat and rain
- ability to multitask and remain flexible
- must communicate positively and professionally and work well with others
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
- ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- strong attention to detail
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and teamwork abilities
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and perform temperature checks on food items in accordance with departmental procedures
- assemble and serve menu items in roles such as prep, cook, catering, fryer, griller, expo
- complete daily restocking, cleaning tasks and dishwashing assigned by leadership
- keep workstations, equipment, floors, and supplies clean, organized, and sanitized
- ensure products are fresh and follow FIFO product rotation
- comply with health department regulations and maintain sanitary work environment
- operate kitchen tools and equipment safely including knives, pizza cutters, dollies, and pallet jacks
- follow food handling protocols to prevent time and temperature abuse
- provide outstanding customer service
- comply with all company policies and procedures
- identify operational and equipment issues and collaborate with leadership to resolve them
- maintain knowledge of POS systems, food handling equipment, cleaning protocols, and safety procedures
- embody the company’s keys of intentionality, friendliness, safety, cleanliness, and fun
- assist with responsibilities across departments or park locations as assigned
