Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year cooking experience including short order and quantity cooking
- Possess or willing to obtain Serv-Safe certification
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Willingness to learn new food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of special dietary needs and meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work effectively with a team and display team behaviors
- Ability to deal effectively with conflict or customer complaints
- Ability to multitask
- Follow all food safety and equipment safety procedures
- Knowledge of and compliance with community quality standards
- Dependable, punctual, self-motivated
- Ability to work without constant supervision
Job Qualifications

- Effective oral and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents and staff
- Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures
- Prepare and present high-quality food items
- Order, receive, and rotate stock in conjunction with the Food Service Director
- Follow recipes to ensure consistency
- Assist with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
