Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Commitment to making a positive impact
- Ability to remain stationary and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
- Ability to safely reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to wear protective hand coverings, face coverings, and use disinfectants throughout entire shift
- Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap
- Willingness to work in hot and damp environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a restaurant kitchen or food service environment is beneficial
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices
- Physical capability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and prolonged standing
Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to Applebee's quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and dining room staff
- Follow health and safety guidelines including wearing protective gear
- Handle and lift food supplies safely up to 50 pounds
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, hot, and humid environment
- Ensure food presentation meets company specifications
