The current opportunity is for a dedicated Kitchen Crew Member at The Mint Gaming Hall. This role is fundamental to ensuring that every guest enjoys consistently great food prepared according to established recipes and quality standards. You will be responsible for following recipes precisely, measuring ingredients accurately, and maintaining high standards in all prepared menu items. Training is an important part of this role, with an emphasis on learning every recipe and adhering to operational procedures carefully. Additionally, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe prep area is essential, as is proper storage of all products after meal periods. This position offers a wage of $20 per hour, with weekly pay and the potential to earn up to $2000 in bonuses during your first year.

  • cook experience preferred but not required
  • high school diploma or its equivalent
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • internal candidates must have been in their current position for at least six months and have no active disciplinary action during the last six months
  • must be able to obtain required work cards and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction

Job Duties

  • follow recipes, measurements, quantities and other information so each menu item can be duplicated consistently
  • actively participate in training, become familiar with each recipe and ensure recipe adherence
  • uphold the standard kitchen operating procedures on a consistent basis
  • ensure all prep items and recipes are made to approved standards
  • breakdown prep areas at the end of each meal period and ensure proper product storage
