Job Description

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Commitment to making a positive impact in the workplace
- Physical ability to remain stationary and exert mobility for up to four hours
- Ability to safely reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in hot and damp environments
- Capability to wear protective hand coverings and face masks throughout the shift
- Ability to consistently wash hands with disinfecting soap during shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant cooking preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic understanding of food safety standards and cleanliness practices
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook Applebee's menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and work areas following health and safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly during fast-paced service periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols including wearing protective gear
- Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to ensure freshness
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
- Uphold company values by demonstrating care for people and commitment to team success
