Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills and HACCP knowledge
  • At least 1 year of cooking experience
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques for soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Comfortable speaking with customers
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, and twist
  • Comfort working with hot equipment and sharp utensils
  • Willingness to frequently immerse hands in water and chemical solutions
  • Ability to work in hot environments

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of related cooking experience
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and food preparation skills
  • Experience in high volume and casual dining environments preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and menu instructions
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Capability to handle physical demands such as bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
  • Perform all station functions including fry, flat top griddle, pantry, and egg cooking
  • Communicate ticket times and kitchen issues to manager and servers
  • Provide excellent service to customers and associates at all times
  • Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment
  • Practice food safety and sanitation complying with HACCP standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment and handle food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding fruits and vegetables
