Job Requirements
- Six months experience in healthcare or restaurant facility
- Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification or Food Service and Sanitation Certification within one year of hire
- Knowledge of basic math skills and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness and capability to work in a fast paced environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes in schedule, work assignments and environment
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in healthcare or restaurant facility
- Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification or Food Service and Sanitation Certification within one year of hire
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- High school diploma or GED or culinary degree preferred
- Two years experience as a cook in a healthcare facility preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and present high quality food within specified time frame for patient and retail services
- Properly follow safe food handling procedures
- Take customer orders and prepare the order according to recipe and dietary needs
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Adapt to changes in schedule and work assignments
