Job Duties

  • Prepares hot items for breakfast bar and restaurant in prescribed manner and presents food attractively
  • Ensures food in warmers maintains required temperatures
  • Prepares appropriate amount of food according to hotel occupancy
  • Maintains amount and quality of food in warmers to ensure high quality
  • Prepares and garnishes food orders per menu specifications with proper plate presentation
  • Checks cleanliness and quality of food in coolers and storage areas
  • Requisitions food with necessary approvals according to policy
  • Takes care of kitchen equipment including ranges, ovens, broilers, fryers, griddles, and utensils
  • Attends to restaurant customer needs for satisfaction
  • Informs host, hostess, or manager of any customer dissatisfaction
  • Ensures breakfast area and restaurant are in proper condition for customers
  • Verifies workstations are stocked, neat, and orderly
  • Checks overall condition of dining room and ensures readiness for customers
