Job Duties
- Prepares hot items for breakfast bar and restaurant in prescribed manner and presents food attractively
- Ensures food in warmers maintains required temperatures
- Prepares appropriate amount of food according to hotel occupancy
- Maintains amount and quality of food in warmers to ensure high quality
- Prepares and garnishes food orders per menu specifications with proper plate presentation
- Checks cleanliness and quality of food in coolers and storage areas
- Requisitions food with necessary approvals according to policy
- Takes care of kitchen equipment including ranges, ovens, broilers, fryers, griddles, and utensils
- Attends to restaurant customer needs for satisfaction
- Informs host, hostess, or manager of any customer dissatisfaction
- Ensures breakfast area and restaurant are in proper condition for customers
- Verifies workstations are stocked, neat, and orderly
- Checks overall condition of dining room and ensures readiness for customers
