Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- experience cooking and working in kitchen
- Serve Safe or ability to become certified
- current proof of First Aid training and CPR
- current TB test within 30 days of hire
- basic Microsoft Office skills, required (Word, Outlook)
- ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- ability to handle physical tasks and some lifting
- respectful of all individuals
- flexible and open to change
- understand and practice client confidentiality
- understand and practice client and staff boundaries
- ability to coach clients as needed
- ability to complete required documentation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan weekly menus in coordination with supplies
- use time effectively to organize client meals
- prepare meals for up to 15 clients three times a day
- store food and supplies appropriately
- maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food inspector standards
- order and maintain kitchen supplies
- complete food orders accurately
- communicate with staff to coordinate client meals
- adhere to client mealtimes
- oversee cleanliness of food storage areas
- observe clients during meals to identify needs
- supervise completion of client kitchen chores
- provide appropriate snacks regularly
- document food inventory and order for cost-saving
- treat all staff and clients with respect
- foster a positive and therapeutic work environment
- perform miscellaneous tasks as required
- carry out other duties as assigned
