Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
- Ability to work well in a team with attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain portion control
- Attention to detail and commitment to food safety
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt during busy periods
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, disinfect and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
- Check quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season and cook foods according to recipes, specified quantities and portion control systems
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute for or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during busier periods
