Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, squat, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food preparation preferred
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitary practices

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, disinfect, and organize kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas as well as utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
