Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Ability to perform physical demands including frequent standing, walking, stooping and bending

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience preferred
  • Previous experience in nutrition services in a medical or hospital setting preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to perform physical demands including standing and lifting

Job Duties

  • Cook food according to approved recipes for retail, bakery, catering, patient services, and coffee kiosks
  • Ensure food appearance and quality meet department standards
  • Comply with all HACCP food safety guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas
  • Assist with inventory and stock management as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
  • Work collaboratively with Nutrition Services team members
