Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations
- Ability to prepare and serve meals according to established guidelines
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work part-time or on-call hours
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Commitment to PHS's faith-based mission and values
Job Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education
- Knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations including food service operations strongly desired
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious, and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies
- Ensure compliance with state and federal food handling regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other staff to meet dietary needs of residents
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Adapt meal preparation for special diets as required
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members
