Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
- ability to work in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- good communication and teamwork skills
- attention to detail and strong work ethic
- basic knowledge of food safety standards
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- clean, sanitize and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
- check quality and freshness of ingredients
- prepare, season and cook foods according to recipes, specified quantities and portion controls
- inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils and equipment for compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- substitute for or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
