Job Requirements

1 year of experience in related food service position preferred
Food Handler's Card/Certification may be required according to local and/or state regulations
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds, but have the ability to lift up to 55 pounds
Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks
Manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills
Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures

Job Qualifications

Basic math, reading, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Excellent teamwork attitude

Job Duties

Correctly prepare all foods served following standard recipes, working on several different orders simultaneously
Restocks food items and kitchen supplies
stores and rotates food properly and safely
Operate cooking equipment such as flat grills, char broiler, fryer, slicer, etc
Comply with all established standards, including personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform
Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques
Keep work area neat and clean at all times
cleans and maintains equipment, cooking surfaces and utensils used in food preparation
