Job Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement and authorization to work in the United States
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • ability to work cooperatively in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous cooking experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous
  • knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified amounts, and portion control systems
  • inspect food preparation and serving areas as well as utensils and equipment for safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak periods
