Job Requirements
- Minimum age requirement and authorization to work in the United States
- ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely
- capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
- ability to work cooperatively in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous cooking experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- check quality and freshness of ingredients
- prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified amounts, and portion control systems
- inspect food preparation and serving areas as well as utensils and equipment for safe and sanitary food handling practices
- substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak periods
