Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • food service experience preferably in hospital, health care or hospitality setting
  • valid driver's license preferred
  • ability to work in a food production kitchen with exposure to temperature changes
  • ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
  • capacity for heavy physical workload including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • capability to stand, walk, bend, pull, push, kneel and stop throughout the shift

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of basic math
  • understanding of equipment usage
  • familiarity with cleaning products

Job Duties

  • prepare food and dessert items for patients, staff and visitors

  • operate kitchen equipment safely
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
  • follow infection control and safety protocols
  • assist with inventory and stock management
  • collaborate with food service team and supervisors
