Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion controls
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock prep and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and portion controls
  • Inspect food prep and serving areas as well as utensils and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
