Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds, with the ability to lift up to 55 pounds
  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks
  • Manual dexterity
  • Auditory and visual skills
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Basic math skills
  • Reading and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork attitude
  • 1 year of experience in a related food service position preferred
  • Food Handler's Card or certification may be required according to local or state regulations

Job Duties

  • Correctly prepare all foods served following standard recipes, working on several different orders simultaneously
  • Restock food items and kitchen supplies
  • Store and rotate food properly and safely
  • Operate cooking equipment such as flat grills, char broiler, fryer, slicer
  • Comply with all established standards including personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform
  • Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques
  • Keep work area neat and clean at all times, clean and maintain equipment, cooking surfaces and utensils used in food preparation
