Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience in related food service position preferred
- Food handler's card/certification may be required according to local and/or state regulations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
- Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds, ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks
- Manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of experience in related food service position preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math, reading, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork attitude
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures
- Food Handler's Card/certification if required by local or state regulations
Job Duties
- Correctly prepare all foods served following standard recipes, working on several different orders simultaneously
- Restock food items and kitchen supplies
- Store and rotate food properly and safely
- Operate cooking equipment such as flat grills, char broilers, fryers, and slicers
- Comply with all established standards including personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform
- Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques
- Keep work area neat and clean at all times
