Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working on the line in a professional kitchen
- Prior experience in fine dining establishments
- Culinary degree or relevant hotel kitchen experience
- Proficient in basic cooking and plating techniques
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently on a single station
- Demonstrated customer service and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work full-time including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods throughout a shift
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of previous line experience
- Prior fine dining experience
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience
- Ability to perform basic cooking skills including presentation techniques
- Refined verbal communication skills
- Ability to work single station in the kitchen
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
- Desire to satisfy customer needs in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Full-time availability including weekdays, weekends, holidays
Job Duties
- Work various kitchen stations including Blue Duck Tavern and banquet kitchens
- Follow culinary directions and maintain high food quality standards
- Perform multitasking efficiently under fast-paced conditions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Present dishes following proper techniques and standards
- Collaborate with team members for smooth kitchen operations
- Uphold hygiene and safety regulations in all food preparation areas
