Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to operate kitchen appliances such as ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
  • Ability to stand walk or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds without assistance

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh measure and mix ingredients
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality and presentation standards
  • Operate ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
  • Test foods to determine if properly cooked
  • Monitor food quality and safety during preparation
  • Set up and break down work stations
  • Serve food in correct portions onto proper receptacles
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area tables tools knives and equipment
  • Check and ensure correct temperature of appliances and food
  • Follow company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report maintenance needs accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain clean professional uniform and appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
  • Adhere to quality expectations and standards
  • Stand sit or walk for extended periods during shift
