- minimum of 6 months cooking experience or equivalent culinary training
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to operate kitchen equipment safely

Job Duties
- Prepares, measures ingredients, and cooks food in accordance with established recipes and guidelines
- reads food order tickets or receives verbal instructions and prepares food accordingly
- prepares food and serves customers in a made-to-order setting including a grill station
- prepares food following food safety and sanitation standards
- operates and maintains kitchen equipment safely
- tastes products to ensure quality and keeps accurate records
- cleans and sanitizes workstation and equipment
- works safely to avoid injury and reports unsafe conditions
- complies with safety and risk management policies
- receives inventory, lifts products and supplies, and prepares meals for special diets
- contributes to achieving department goals and adheres to policies, procedures, and quality standards
- participates in meetings, initiatives, and training programs
