Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of food-handling regulations preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education
- Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations preferred
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS mission and operating philosophies
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate effectively with customers
- Experience in food preparation or culinary services is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality meals that are attractive, nutritious and palatable
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal food-handling regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
- Collaborate with team members to meet dietary needs and preferences of residents
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Follow established policies, procedures and best practices for food safety
- Assist with meal preparation and presentation for special events and dietary accommodations
